Serve as the first point of contact for patients and referral sources, ensuring a seamless intake experience.
Coordinate and process all new patient referrals quickly and accurately.
Review and obtain patient records and documentation using both internal systems and external sources.
Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations for pharmacy and nursing services.
Clearly communicate coverage details and financial responsibilities to patients—keeping them informed every step of the way.
Collaborate closely with our pharmacy, nursing, sales, and case management teams to support patient discharge and therapy onboarding.
Track and document all case activity to ensure records are complete and up to date.
Play a critical role in turning referrals into real care, real fast.
Required:
1–2 years of customer service experience
Strong communication skills—friendly, professional, and confident on the phone and in writing
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a high-volume setting
Tech-savvy with solid math and computer skills
Problem-solving mindset—you take initiative and find solutions
Preferred:
Healthcare background, especially in insurance authorization or reimbursement
Familiarity with medical terminology
Competitive pay: $18–$20/hr, based on experience
Hybrid work option available after successful 90-day training period
