Role: Director of Nursing

We are seeking a growth-oriented nursing leader with a desire to help build our organization into the best provider of infusion services in Western Washington. This position will assist and manage our on-site nurse managers at each of our locations, helping to develop the nursing organization to be stable and scalable while delivering the highest quality patient care. We have a growing team of skilled, competent infusion nurses in need of a highly capable nursing leader to guide the nursing arm of our organization.

With our organization's rapid growth, we are looking for a Director of Nursing who is excited to build structure within our team and to continue delivering the highest quality patient outcomes. We expect this Director of Nursing to be patient-centric, growth-oriented, integrous, flexible, and adaptable as both a contributor and leader in changing environments.

Job Description:

As a Manager:

  • Help recruit, onboard, and retain the highest caliber of infusion nurses and ancillary nursing staff for our territory.
  • Ensure staff competency completion for all clinical procedures.
  • Help maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Manage performance management and evaluations for direct reports.
  • Understand business management to ensure sustainable, rapid growth.

As a Nurse:

  • Administer a wide range of IV medications for disease states across the healthcare spectrum.
  • Educate and teach certain patients how to infuse and take an active role in their healing process.
  • Manage access sites, including PICC, PAC, CVC, and PIV lines.
  • Start IVs.
  • Work and train in our ambulatory infusion suites or in patient homes.
  • Make excellent and critically sound decisions regarding patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, hospital partners, and other health professionals to optimize patient goals.
  • Collaborate with other key players at Infusion Solutions, including pharmacists, dietitians, intake, and fellow RNs, to create individualized treatment plans and execute them flawlessly.
  • Improve patients' lives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of nursing leadership.
  • RN with license in good standing.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical RN experience.
  • Experience in Home Infusion highly preferred.
  • Excellent IV skills.
  • Driver's license in good standing.
  • Very comfortable with technology.

Ability to Relocate:

This is an in-person role that will report out of one of our 4 locations in Western Washington State: Bellingham, Everett (north of Seattle), Federal Way (south of Seattle), or Olympia. This role will require travel to each site to assist with on-site nurse managers in the management of our nursing organization. Ideally, this role will be based out of Bellingham, Washington, but for the right candidate, living in any area of Western Washington is possible.
